David Marlon of Solutions Recovery spoke with CBS Las Vegas Now reporter Shakala Alvaranga about a new rehab clinic in Las Vegas that is trying to get opioid-addicted individuals to use a different drug instead.

High Sobriety’s plan is to let former drug addicts smoke marijuana which they think will help prevent them from relapsing. In two weeks, the clinic will open their doors in Las Vegas.

Marlon talks about how opioid addiction doesn’t often just come with physical symptoms. There are a variety of issues and addictive behaviors related to substance abuse that evidence-based medicine is proven to be effective at treating.
