Gerardo Sison, PharmD
About
Gerardo Sison is a Florida-licensed pharmacist who has worked in clinical and research settings providing drug education to both healthcare professionals and patients. He graduated from the University of Florida where he earned a Doctorate of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.). He piloted a longitudinal clinical research program and completed his clinical internship at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida.
Currently, Dr. Sison serves as a consultant and medical writer for various health and medical organizations. He is also a certified Diabetes Empowerment Education Program (DEEP) instructor and a member of the American Medical Writers Association (AMWA). From his experience on interdisciplinary teams, Dr. Sison strongly supports an active patient relationship when treating problems with addiction.
