At Desert Hope, tours are available any time of day, any day of the week. Since staff is always present at the facility, tours can happen anytime, although alerting the facility beforehand is appreciated and allows us to prepare a better tour experience. Depending on when the tour occurs, prospective patients may get to meet the clinical director, the clinical managers, the nursing director, and possibly the CEO.
Our admission process is quick and easy, and usually takes an hour or less to complete. From day one, patients are welcomed into a therapeutic environment of wellness and caring. During the admission process, each patient undergoes a comprehensive assessment and meets with a mental health professional to develop his or her customized treatment plan.
Dining at Desert Hope includes 3 delicious and nutritious meals daily, and our culinary team includes a pastry chef. We can accommodate clients with special diets, whether related to medical or religious needs.
Our high-end, hotel-style rooms accommodate 2 people per room with a shared private bathroom. Desert Hope’s luxury inpatient facility can house 148 patients. Patients can request a private room if they prefer, although there is an additional cost. Laundry services are available on site.
Because connectivity is so important, patients may bring and use their electronic devices at Desert Hope during free hours. We provide free Wi-Fi to all patients and guests.
A loved one can only receive information about a patient if the patient signs a release of information for that individual.
Desert Hope recognizes that addiction affects not only the individual with the illness, but their loved ones as well, and that having a strong support system is an integral part of recovery. To start healing those family relationships damaged by addiction, Desert Hope offers a family day every other Saturday from 1:15 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. This program is led by Dr. Bradley, who talks with patients and their families in an interactive discussion. There is an opportunity for patients and families to visit with one another after the family day programming ends.
With patient consent, loved ones can visit patients every other Saturday, after the family day programming.
During your loved one’s treatment, we can work with you to plan a visit. Your loved one’s treatment team will provide you with all of the information you need to schedule your visit.
