When you arrive at Greenhouse, you’ll go through a medical and psychological assessment that gives our multidisciplinary team a rounded picture of your unique substance use history, co-occurring disorders, trauma history, and any ongoing health issues. By working with you, your primary therapist, and family (with your consent), we can help identify initial goals for aftercare, obstacles to sobriety, and coping strategies to help you respond to triggers. Every client’s length of stay at Greenhouse varies depending on their clinical needs. Your program stay will be determined according to your unique set of circumstances including your progress while in treatment, ability to manage co-occurring conditions, need for support services following program completion, and insurance coverage.

Ensuring your safety is our first priority. Upon arrival at Greenhouse, following a comprehensive medical and mental health assessment, we’ll determine if you need to go through a detox period. If you require detox, you’ll be medically monitored by our licensed team 24/7 to manage your withdrawal symptoms safely. Our skilled medical team is knowledgeable about the nuances of different drug withdrawal symptoms uses tailored detox methods and tapering protocols to safely rid the body of toxic substances. Although everyone’s progress is different, detox lasts approximately 5-7 days.
Following completion of addiction treatment at Greenhouse, we recommend that clients get involved with sober activities and recovery organizations that will aid in their transition from treatment to long-term recovery. Activities include joining the Greenhouse Alumni group, attending local 12-Step meetings, and if desired, seeking out the option of sober living environments. Sober living housing can provide a structured living environment with a quiet lifestyle and residents working on their recovery.
Your Admissions Navigator will work with you over the phone to complete a pre-admission assessment, a 15-to-30 minute clinical evaluation of you or your loved one's addiction history and behavioral health issues (i.e. anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar, etc.).
