The Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration is an online resource that offers information to individuals seeking treatment for substance abuse and/or mental health disorders. To be listed on SAMHSA’s Behavioral Health Treatment Services Locator, a facility must be licensed and/or accredited by their respective state or national accrediting agency. All American Addiction Centers facilities are proudly certified by the Joint Commission or CARF and therefore meet these listing standards.

The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval signifies that an organization meets the “highest national standards for safety and quality of care and is also committed to continually improving patient care.” All American Addiction Centers facilities are at least accredited by either the Joint Commission or CARF, with some treatment centers being certified by both accrediting bodies.

NAADAC Approved Education Providers offer training and education for those who are seeking to become certified/licensed, for those who want to maintain their certification/license at the state or national level, for those who want to add to their education, and for those from other disciplines who want to learn more about substance use and co-occurring disorders. As a NAADAC Approved Education Providers, we offer continuing education credits to SUD clinicians to help them maintain their license.
