About
Sazha Alexandra Ramos is a Navy Veteran and accomplished social worker with a decade of experience in the behavioral health and government sectors. She has held several significant roles, including working at the national nonprofit SAFE Project (Stopping Addiction Fatality Epidemic)–co-founded by the Vice Joint Chief of Staff, Chief of Naval Operations, Awards Board, Veterans Administration Interagency Care and Benefits Coordination, and US House of Representatives Wounded Warrior Program in Washington, DC. Most recently, she has contributed her expertise to Discovery Behavioral Health in creating their national military and Veterans program.
In addition to her boots-on-the-ground work, Sazha has shared her insights, personal recovery journey, and expertise by presenting alongside the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), and Congress, focusing on substance use, Veterans’ mental health, and making recovery accessible to all
.
