KXNT CBS Radio in Las Vegas spoke with Jane Schmidt, MS, LADC, who has treated and helped thousands of people address chemical dependency. She has also served the United States country & citizens and understands what it is to be a veteran. Schmidt now works directly with the Las Vegas veteran population in her role as Veteran’s Affairs Coordinator at Solutions Recovery Treatment Center.

The interview covers topics such as Veteran’s Day, rates of PTSD amongst service men and women, substance abuse disorder statistics amongst service members, and more. The interview also highlighted the 5 (five) 30-day treatment scholarships provided to United States veterans who called on Saturday, 11/11 for treatment.
