Outpatient rehab treatment: Outpatient rehabilitation enables patients to receive much of the same kinds of treatment offered at inpatient facilities; however, patients return home after each treatment session. There may be several levels of outpatient care offered by a facility. Typically partial hospitalization programs (PHPs) require the most daily or weekly hours in treatment, followed by intensive outpatient care, and standard outpatient treatment.
