Helping You Get to Treatment
Our Programs, Levels of Care & Beyond
Medically Monitored Detox
Withdrawal from drugs or alcohol can be scary and even dangerous in some cases. We have healthcare providers on staff 24/7 to help monitor patients and get them through this crucial step to recovery. Once stabilized, they can continue into inpatient care.
Inpatient Care
After detox, patients may enter inpatient care. This live-in program can take care in a hospital or standalone residential center and removes people from the people, places, and things that can trigger drug and alcohol use in their home environment. Patients receive medical care and medications, if needed, as well as the support of staff and peers in a recovery community. Most programs hold group and individual therapy sessions and other activities that promote sobriety. Therapies may include: psychotherapy (CBT, DBT, EMDR), medication assisted treatment, 12-Step, family therapy, and holistic therapies.
Outpatient Options
If your loved one has completed inpatient care, is not able to take time off from work or other responsibilities, or does not need an intensive level of care, outpatient rehab might be a good option. We offer outpatient care options including PHP and IOP programs at many of our facilities. Patients can get treatment during the day or at night and return home after.
After Care, Support & Events
Recovery is a personal, lifelong journey and after formal treatment is over it can be scary to return to normal life. American Addiction Centers offers an alumni app to keep in touch with others in recovery that have attended our rehab centers and our facilities may also organize alumni events to hang out and support one another in recovery.
