KXNT CBS Radio interviewed Chris Boutté, Lead Alumni Coordinator, of Desert Hope Treatment Center, about The Big Game coming up with Sunday. In the interview, Chris shared about how sports, the Big Game, and football viewing parties can be affected by addiction, and what to do to make things go smoothly.

With over 111 million viewers, and over 10 percent of the population dealing with the disease of addiction, The Big Game is a time when drinkers and nondrinkers are going to be socializing heavily together. Chris provided tips on how to be a good host and make sure that your party is sober-friendly. He also spoke about what those in recovery can do to make sure that they’re celebrating with friends and loved ones in a way that isn’t going to hurt their recovery.
