Desert Hope CEO Derek Price was featured on the NFLA podcast further discussing the association’s partnership with American Addiction Centers.

Studies have shown that the risk of drug and/or alcohol addiction is high among professional athletes. A study has also found that heavy drinking and binge drinking was higher among NFL retirees than the general public. As a former NFL player, Price has seen fellow athletes struggle with substance use and now uses his position to provide help to those who need it most.
