Dr. Mark Calarco Calls Naloxone the CPR of a New Generation in MedCity News Op-ed

Dr. Mark Calarco is urging more Americans to get trained on how to administer an overdose-reversing drug, such as Narcan. In his latest op-ed featured in MedCity News, he points out that our nation is in throes of an alarming public health crisis that requires our immediate attention.
“With tens of thousands of American lives lost each year to drug overdose, it’s critical that we begin training Americans to administer Narcan (naloxone), just as we did with CPR, to help save the lives of our neighbors, family members and friends,” writes Calarco.
