Our programs allow the client to live offsite while attending structured treatment onsite on a part-time but still effective schedule.
To accommodate the client’s family life, employment schedule, and community obligations, we offer flexible scheduling at two levels of outpatient care:
In this program, the client lives offsite (at home, independently, or in recovery housing), and attends onsite treatment for three days a week, three hours per day, at a minimum. Our IOP services offer a planned, structured program of multidisciplinary services including individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, and didactic groups. Additional services offered may include aftercare recovery groups, skills building groups, wellness activities, 12-Step groups, and trauma-based therapy.
The client who is appropriate for an IOP program is medically and psychologically stable, without acute medical issues requiring 24/7 supervision. The client may participate in this program after completing residential treatment to assist with reintegration into community or as stand-alone treatment program, depending on his/her clinical needs. The IOP client typically resides at home, with family members, or in a Sober Living facility.
While attending our OP treatment program, the client lives offsite (at home, independently, or in recovery housing) and attends onsite therapy for approximately one hour, 1-2 days per week. The OP client’s treatment schedule is flexible.
The OP client is medically and psychologically stable and does not require medical monitoring. This program is the least supervised level of care at Sunrise House Outpatient, and the client is increasingly reintegrated into normal everyday life as compared to a more supervised residential program. The OP client typically lives offsite (at home, independently, or in sober housing). Usually, the OP client is fine-tuning the aftercare plan, employed (or seeking employment), and regularly participates in local recovery groups, sober organizations, or 12-Step meetings. At the OP level of care, the client is able to manage his/her co-occurring mental health disorders, perform family obligations, and attend work on a regular basis.
Each client’s treatment schedule is determined on an individual basis depending on the client’s clinical needs and recommendations from the treatment team. Morning therapy sessions are available by appointment, and hours of operation for Sunrise House Outpatient Center are 9:00AM to 12:00PM, CST, Monday through Saturday.
