Episode 68: Jamie Leibert

Jamie Leibert always believed he was meant for something great. But at 24 years old, sitting in solitary confinement, he had to face the ultimate question: “Who am I?”
As a child, Leibert struggled with the impact of ADHD, trauma, and abandonment, and eventually turned to drugs and alcohol to cope. This led to a criminal record and 4 years behind bars. It was a prison therapist who helped him begin to see himself differently and taught him how to channel his focus, take accountability, and understand what he truly wanted out of life.
That shift changed everything. Today, Jamie is a well-known adventure athlete, living a life that once seemed out of reach.
He went from asking, “Who am I?” to building a life that answers the question.
This is a conversation about identity, accountability, recovery, and discovering what’s possible when we stop letting our past define us.
