August 31, 2018 Desert Hope Treatment Center
This was my vey first rehab that I attended at the age of 18, I was the youngest patient during my entire stay so I guess you could say I was the baby of the facility, lol! I'm now a few days from being 20, and I'm still doing good with the addiction that I was initially there to confront. I haven't drank alcohol since July 19, 2017, which is the date I arrived at Desert Hope. The staff was the highlight of my stay, because they're so involved that you tend to develop personal relationships with them. I have to especially thank one staff member for all the knowledge, motivation, hope, & positivity her conversations always gave me. If it wasn't for her, a bad decision I made could've cost me my life. Also, I actually turned 19 while i was there & the kitchen staff made me a cake & everybody sung happy birthday, it was great. I dont get much of that love/kindness thing shown toward me in my everyday life so its something I'll definitely remember forever. The groups are extremely effective, especially when we get into a deep topic. I highly recommend this facility to anyone struggling with any substance abuse. Although I am currently in active addiction, this place saved my life because I still have not had a drink since I discharged on September 4, 2017.. Almost one whole year. & I give all the credit to DH for leading me in the right direction. Even in my current active addiction, I still think about things I learned there, & let me tell you, there's nothing more guiltier than an addict with a body full of drugs & a mind full of AA/Recovery.. Thank you DH for leaving this huge mark on me. I really hope i make it back to see you guys soon.

The treatment facility was incredible. Organization could use a little work, the medical services available seemed to be extremely confusing. The amenities and the therapists were strengths. Organization and time management were weaknesses.

Greenhouse was a blessing, it was a very therapeutic experience and I was taught the coping skills I needed. I would recommend completing the whole program including the outpatient program. If I had a loved one or a friend struggling with addiction I would definitely recommend this facility. Housekeeping, therapists, and food availability. The Behavioral Health Tech's needed more training on professionalism.

The Greenhouse Treatment Center provided programs that challenged my spouse to explore the hidden causes of his addiction. He has gained strength and direction to handle the issues he will face and the confidence that he is no longer alone in his journey to stay clean. We thank the professional staff at Greenhouse. The clients journey to recovery and the transition back to their lives and the family are the focus of the treatment programs at the Greenhouse Treatment Center. The Greenhouse Treatment Center concentration is centered on the clients needs, which is fine. However, the spouse/partner needs guidance and support as well and can feel left out of the healing process, if not included.
